A Study on Multi-Objective Optimization of Large Deformable Elastic Plates

چکیده

Metallic yielding dampers are damaged early before the main frame during earthquakes and take over damage of frame. Under assumption elasticity, both maximum residual deformation expected to be reduced. However, may damaged, elasticity not hold under major earthquakes. large deformable elastic plates have larger than standard steel core damper can used as braces reduce seismic response buildings. This study presents a simple definition design variables for topology optimization problem involving with rectangular shapes. As bi-objective functions, force capacity maximization were used. The results compared findings previous study. Finally, efficacy was verified by experimental tensile tests. obtained follows. (1) A distinct trade-off relationship between load through muti-objective optimizations using proposed formulation. (2) Pareto fronts formulation almost identical (3) While test overestimated analysis 10 mm rough grid elements, correspond reanalysis 2.5 fine elements.
